Another story. it's about aliens... or something like that...

Aliens

As a little boy, Marlon used to like to stare out of his bedroom window at the stars. “I know what’s up there…” he said to himself every night. He’d climb into his race car bed and pull the itchy covers up to his chin he smile at the thought of flying through the stars, landing on comets and soaring into oblivion. He would wake up every morning greeting the sky and asking how it was, his parents worried about him.
As a teenager, Marlon was no better; In fact, he was a lot worse. He wouldn’t go play outside with his friends, wouldn’t go to the video arcade, why, he wouldn’t even pay any attention to the opposite sex. He’d spend countless hours staring through the telescope and talking to himself; Or so everyone thought… until that one fateful evening when Marlon came out of his stuffy room grinning. “They’re coming” was all he said before sauntering back into his room and shutting the door, still smiling. That was four years ago, when Marlon was fourteen. Now, he’s an eighteen year-old high school student, still strung out on the firmament and its contents. The only difference is he is currently dating the hottest girl in school. They met one night while they were both in the park with their telescopes. Turns out, she “knew what was out there” too.
“Come on, Marlon. Stay after school with me” Marlons girlfriend Zsa Nakai begged him. He had been promising to stay after school with her to go to The Spot. The Spot was a place where all the kids from school went during the evening to hang out and chat.
“I don’t know Zsa, I don’t think I’m going to like it very much” Marlon sulked.
“So what do you want to do then?”
“It’s almost dark outside…”
“You want to go to the park?” Zsa Nakai asked knowingly. Marlon nodded. “Okay then, lets go there instead” Zsa Nakai grabbed his hand and they started on their walk to the park.
Once reaching the park, they assembled the telescope the Marlon always carried in his book bag that was specially designed for large telescopes. They put it together silently, and then sat on the ground for about an hour, waiting for it to be dark enough to see the stars and planets. The sun disappeared from the sky and the two jumped up to look through the telescope.
“What do you think we’ll see tonight?” Marlon asked anxiously.
“I don’t know. Do you think they’ll come tonight?” Zsa Nakai retorted with a question of her own.
“Hopefully they will, are you nervous?”
“Not really, it’ll be exciting to see aliens for the first time.”
“A shooting star! Make a wish Zsa Nakai!” Both of them shut their eyes tightly and opened them a second later staring up at the sky hopefully.
“What did you wish for?” Zsa Nakai asked discerning that they had both wished for the same thing.
“I can’t tell, or it won’t happen.” Marlon looked into the telescope. “Hey! A comet! Is it coming this way? Oh my God, it is!”
“What?” Zsa Nakai asked worriedly.
“It’s a comet, it’s coming straight for us!”
“Lemme see!” Zsa Nakai pulled the telescope toward her and looked. “That’s not a comet” she said happily. “I actually don’t know what it is… it’s still coming for us. What is that?”
“Oh my God! What if it’s a space ship?” Marlon was ecstatic. He pulled from his book bag two posters. The posters were about a foot long and two feet wide; they said “WELCOME TO OUR PLANET”.
“Welcome to our planet?” Zsa Nakai asked as Marlon handed her a poster. “Is that all you could think of? Welcome to our planet?”
“Well, I didn’t know what to really say” Marlon frowned.
“You said they told you they were coming four years ago and all you could think about “was welcome to our planet”?” Zsa Nakai yelped.
“Sorry Zsa Nakai. Look, the thing is coming closer” Marlon looked through the telescope as the UFO came closer and closer to the telescope.
“Okay, Marlon… I’m really freaking out now. I can see the thing WITHOUT the telescope. It’s really close. MARLON IT’S COMING!!!!” Zsa Nakai dropped to the ground and covered her head.
“Zsa what are you doing? Get up and hold the sign in the air!” Marlons hair began to fly this way and that as the air from the space craft hit him square in the face. He looked up and right above him were millions of tiny neon green lights. “Oh my God!” Marlon screamed and ran to Zsa Nakai. “Zsa Nakai, get up!”
“NO MARLON! IT’S COMING! MAYBE IF I DON’T MOVE THEY WON’T SEE ME!”
“Zsa Nakai! They are going to see you regardless, now come on or your going to die!” Marlon reached for Zsa Nakais arm and pulled for her to follow him. She rose slowly but was pushed back to the ground by the force of the ships steam erupting from the green lights. The ship finally touched down to the ground, hundreds of tiny legs bolted out from it; “keeping it up” Marlon thought. He let go of Zsa Nakai and stood staring at the monstrously large UFO. He heard Zsa Nakai hollering from help from under the ship but was not able to rush to her aid. They were finally here. They had come. And now… they would take him with them.
“MARLON!” Zsa Nakai reached out for him, tears in her eyes. He looked down at her; a cold blank stare was in his eyes. “Marlon, help m-” just as Zsa Nakai was begging for help, a door opened from the bottom of the spaceship; what seemed to be metal spikes also emerged from the door. The door crashed down upon Zsa Nakai, thus killing her on the spot and causing the nicely shined metal to become tinted with blood. Marlon knew and understood what happened; he wanted to cry out for her, to rush to her side, but he couldn’t. He was rooted to the spot, entranced by the ship… by the beings encased in it. Marlon dropped the sign and it floated to the ground. He stood staring into the bright red light emanating from the inside of the ship and when a figure emerged from the light, Marlon walked towards it.
The alien emerged completely from the light, long tentacles for arms, big almond pupils for eyes and a slim figure. The alien silently walked towards the boy standing in front of him, the alien was surprised that the boy was coming to it. A brain wave passed through the alien “this must be the boy… Marlon” the alien processed this thought but could not smile, it had no mouth. Marlon and the alien were face to endoplasmic reticulum face. The alien reached out, placing its suction over Marlons mouth, just like that, Marlon dropped dead right there. His body crumpled and turned into a skeleton, his skin completely melted.
The alien turned to his ship and sent out a brain wave. Hundreds of aliens came pouring from the ship, all having tentacles. They spread out, heading in opposite directions, all headed for other parts of the world, to make it their new home.
